Kluang RailCoffee

There is a lot of hip cafe being featured for having good espresso coffee and a great menu to compliment the coffee flavor. In down south Malaysia, we still remain true to most of our ‘kopitiam’ heritage and today I am featuring this Kluang RailCoffee.

As the name this original kopitiam situated next to a Kluang railway station. Why I said original is now they have few other branches that offers almost the same menu as the original kopitiam. If you ever have the chance to travel down south do not miss the chance to dine in at this original pit stop.

They are open as early as 0700hrs complimenting the first train pit stop in Kluang station. This cafe is not only famous with the local, our Johor royalty even dine in in this very place. Among the must try will be the rounded butter kaya bun, Nasi Lemak and Mee goreng bungkus and ayam kampung half boiled egg.

And of course, The Kluang Rail coffee.

Unlike other hipster cafe the price is really reasonable. For one person dine in with a cup of coffee, one packets of nasi lemak and mee goreng with the rounded butter kaya and the ayam kampung half boiled egg, it won’t cost you more than RM10.

The ambience of dining in a real railway cafe with the multi racial people; old and new Malay, Chinese and Indian sharing good food and table together in the morning and having such a good time is the ultimate experience money can’t buy in those hipsters cafe.

Opening hours will be Friday to Wednesday 0700-1200 & 1430-1800. They are closed every Thursday.
